We are excited by new possibilities and look forward to bringing new products, ideas, and technologies that help people make the most of every day.Build a career of purpose & passion with Times Internet.About the Role: Manager- LegalEssential Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):The desired candidate should have 5-10 years of experience and have the following skill sets:Experience of working in digital media and fintech industry and sound understanding of applicable regulatory framework.Demonstrated experience in advising on complex business transactions and fintech-related issues, including but not limited to credit card systems, digital payments, and related financial technologies.Proficient in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing proposals, content licensing agreement, MSAs, service agreements, telemarketing/telco agreements, ad sale agreements, NDAs, LOIs, business agreements with various vendors and service providers, strategic partnerships with global players, app integration agreements, consulting agreements, marketing/sales agreements - domestic and global, website terms and conditions.Knowledge of Information technology/internet laws, copyright, trademarks, data privacy (domestic and global), consumer protection, payment regulations, intermediaries, entertainment, media and advertising laws/regulations will be an added advantage.Background (essential and desired):Excellent academic credentials, including a law degree preferably from a Tier 1 law school.5+ years of post-qualification experience, with relevant experience in the digital media/publisher industry.Sound knowledge of the IT & Fintech laws, contract drafting, negotiation and management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Responsible, self-starter, capable of simultaneously handling multiple, multi-faceted projects and working under pressure.Team player capable of working well across departmental lines.Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in time management and prioritization.Ability to interface effectively and appropriately with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the company.Excellent drafting and negotiating skills. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, closing of contracts (end to end)Sound business, commercial and techno-legal acumen.Ethical, with highest standards of integrity.Should be able to interpret and apply law and regulation in practical, hands-on, matters with common sense.Should be able to advise business on interpretation and application of various laws, including media laws, intellectual property, copyrights, information technology laws, data protection, consumer protection, intermediaries, advertising & marketing laws/regulations.Should be able to manage and prioritize a wide variety of matters and internal and external stakeholders.Should be able to communicate clearly, concisely, effectively and persuasively with all levels of business and stakeholders.Able and willing to work proactively, both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.Educational qualification: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Law Job Location: Noida
