Data Engineer OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL, Ab-Initio, Teradata, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines. They will be responsible for implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performing data solutions, leading performance tuning and optimization efforts, and ensuring data integrity and compliance through the implementation of data governance, quality, and security best practices.This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end data workflows from ingestion to transformation, storage, and accessibility, and to drive innovation and improve data engineering practices within the team.Key Responsibilities:Implement data solutions using SQL, Ab-Initio, Teradata, and GCPMentor and guide colleagues in the development and execution of ETL processes and data integration solutionsTake ownership of end-to-end data workflowsLead performance tuning and optimization effortsDesign and implement data governance, quality, and security best practicesManage migration of legacy data systems to cloud-based solutions on GCPEnsure continuous improvement and automation of data pipelines and workflowsRequired Skills and Qualifications:4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering or related rolesStrong expertise in SQL, Teradata, and Ab-InitioProficient in scheduling and analyzing jobs using Autosys SchedulerIn-depth experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including tools like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.Proven track record of leading teams and projects related to data engineering and ETL pipeline developmentExperience with data warehousing and cloud-native storage solutions
