We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to play a critical role in the management, operation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure.You will design and manage infrastructure using Terraform, automate configuration management with Ansible, monitor and optimize system performance with DataDog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.To succeed in this role, you should have a good understanding of cloud principles and services, experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.Key Responsibilities:Design and Manage Infrastructure: Utilize Terraform to define and provision scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.Automate Configuration Management: Use Ansible to automate the configuration and management of systems, improving efficiency and reducing the risk of manual errors.Monitor and Optimize Performance: Leverage DataDog to monitor system performance and application metrics, identifying and resolving issues before they impact our users.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications.Improve System Reliability: Continuously explore and implement new tools and practices to enhance DevOps processes and improve overall system reliability and performance.
