Lead AI/ML EngineerWe're building an AI system to accelerate teamwork for software teams. Our goal is to understand what they're discussing, what needs to be done, and bring in contextual agents to move work forward with minimal human effort.This role requires a founding AI/ML engineer to own the intelligence layer of our product. The work will be practical, real-world AI/ML where correctness, latency, and reliability are critical. Key responsibilities include:Building systems that understand and classify content across Email, Slack, issue trackers, and documents into tasks, status checks, meeting requests, information, or noise.Determining the domain of each task (engineering, design, product, writing, support, etc.) based on message content + context.Infering the actual work needed by converting vague task requests into structured, actionable work units.Triggering internal or external agents to help complete tasks with human confirmation where required.Clustering related messages across channels into implicit 'Projects' without teams needing manual creation.Automating the fetch of latest Status for messages asking 'Where does this stand?' by pulling data from various sources.Detecting meeting-related asks, identifying participants, finding availability, and proposing times.
