We are seeking a Sr. Design Manager specializing in LT DG Sets & power management solutions to join our dynamic team at Goel Power Engineers LLP. This mid-level, full-time position is based at HO, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have between 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate design of our power solution projects to meet client specifications and requirements.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical) with Panel Design experience.Strong proficiency in electrical design, with a focus on power Management, is essential for this role.Proven experience in cost estimation to ensure project proposals are both competitive and profitable for the Company.Understanding of HT and LT panel design to facilitate seamless integration of generator sets into existing electrical systems / or designing of complete electrical systems.Competency in selecting appropriate switchgear to maintain the safety and reliability of electrical installations.Strong analytical skills to evaluate engineering plans and link designs to project requirements effectively.Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with project managers, suppliers, and clients.Key responsibilitiesLead the design & drawing development on specified projects including independently performing design work along with directing drafting to generate control system documentation such as wiring diagrams, schematics, panel layouts and Bills of MaterialProduce system deployment documents such as installation diagrams, demolition drawings and field wiring checkout sheetsIncorporate design specifications and other information provided by the project team into designsPrepare/Review final material lists and submit to procurementManage, distribute, and archive as-built drawings and associated documentationProvide design/drafting estimates to sales team and project leadsCoordinating with customer/consultant wherever required for approval of drawings.Preparation of detailed BOM with Cat number as per approved drawings for manufacturingManaging software & records of all drawings and indents.
