Financial AssociateThe position of Financial Associate is a vital role within our organization. We are seeking an individual with exceptional financial skills and attention to detail to join our team.Responsibilities:Collect and validate general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.Prepare accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templates.Review and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency.Prepare tax credit and grant forms.Review tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency.Prepare tax credit audit documents as requested by tax authorities.Assist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Proofread documents prepared by other team members.Qualifications:Minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management position.Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clients.Excellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuracies.High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Quick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and tracking.Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlines.Outgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.Ability to provide feedback to the rest of the organization.Additional preferred skills:Business writing skills.Experience with consulting services type of business.Eager to learn new skills and competencies and build a career in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Business Management.Knowledge of French language.Knowledge of social media platforms and business networking sites like LinkedIn and Twitter.
