The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Microservices, API development, Cloud (GCP), and DevOps practices, along with strong skills in testing and design patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using Java/J2EE.Build and integrate APIs and Microservices to support enterprise-grade solutions.Implement unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure robust software delivery.Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Work with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.Apply architecture principles and design patterns to deliver maintainable, extensible solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong programming skills in Java / J2EE with deep understanding of object-oriented design.Hands-on experience in API development and Microservices architecture.Proven expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Selenium, etc.).Good knowledge and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.Practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, especially GitHub Actions.Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles.Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Nice to HaveExperience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
