Senior Data Systems DeveloperThe Role:We're looking for an accomplished senior data systems developer to spearhead the creation of large-scale, high-performance data platforms. This includes designing and implementing infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring seamless data flow, and guaranteeing scalability.Main Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain production-level data architectures using a variety of tools.Create efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to process massive datasets, leveraging knowledge of big data processing frameworks.Data InfrastructureOwning the end-to-end data platform, encompassing warehousing, lakes, and associated processing frameworks.Evaluating data quality, integrity, and accessibility to ensure downstream consumers receive accurate information.Tackling complex technical challenges related to ingestion, storage, performance, and scalability within distributed environments.Required Skills & Expertise:A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in crafting scalable data platforms at the production level.Demonstrated mastery of core data engineering principles, including data modeling, warehousing/lake architecture.Expert proficiency in SQL with strong programming skills in Python or Scala.Bonus Skills:Familiarity with real-time streaming data technologies.Knowledge of modern data stack tools for quality and transformation.About Our TeamThis position requires someone who is not only highly skilled but also has excellent communication and collaboration skills.
