Job DescriptionThis is a high-level software testing leadership role where you will oversee the quality assurance team and ensure that all software products meet the required standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMentor engineers and senior engineers through regular one-on-one meetings to enhance their skills and knowledge.Track QA sign-offs for each testing cycle to maintain transparency and accountability.Interview new hires in the QA department to assess their fit and provide valuable feedback.Develop comprehensive knowledge transfer plans and transition documents to support the team's growth.Collaborate with QA managers to plan release schedules and allocate resources effectively.Delegate tasks to QA engineers, including test case writing and reviews, to leverage their expertise.Review manual and automation test cases to identify areas for improvement.Conduct lessons learned and retrospective meetings to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Lead daily stand-up calls with QA teams to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.Work closely with other leads to standardize processes across QA teams and promote best practices.Prioritize collaboration with performance engineers to analyze environment and services health.Manage QA documents, templates, and job aids to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.Evaluate capacity and allocate resources for all releases and test cycles to optimize productivity.Review task estimation by engineers to ensure accuracy and realism.Design and implement dashboards to track project progress and develop optimization plans and future roadmaps.Provide detailed weekly reports on project status and scope to stakeholders.Demonstrate innovative technical leadership through enhancements, suggestions, and engagement to drive business growth.
