Job Title: Financial AssistantThis role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic consulting organization as a key member of our team.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the responsibilities of a financial assistant, working closely with our clients to prepare accurate cost reports, collect and validate general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and be proficient in preparing tax credit and grant forms, reviewing tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency, and preparing tax credit audit documents as requested by tax authorities.In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while being proactive and self-motivated.The job also involves assisting management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel, proofreading documents prepared by other team members, and providing feedback to the rest of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Collect and validate general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clientsPrepare accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templatesReview and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistencyPrepare tax credit and grant formsReview tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistencyPrepare tax credit audit documents as requested by tax authoritiesAssist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft ExcelProofread documents prepared by other team membersQualifications:Minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management positionExcellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clientsExcellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuraciesHigh Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelQuick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and trackingGood organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlinesOutgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independentlyBenefits:This role offers a competitive salary range of 4-4.2 LPA and opportunities for career advancement in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Business Management.About Us:We are a growing consulting organization that specializes in helping technology and media enterprises to prepare submissions for government grants and tax credits.
