This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves analyzing financial data, creating reports and forecasts to support business decision-making.Main Responsibilities:Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements, cash flow and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Report Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports that provide insightful analysis and recommendations to management.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor key financial indicators and provide timely insights to management to inform strategic decisions.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts that align with business objectives.Variances and Explanations: Track budget variances and provide clear explanations for deviations from planned targets.Scenario Planning: Support scenario planning and financial modeling to help the organization make informed decisions about investments and projects.Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models using Excel, Power BI or Tableau to analyze and forecast financial performance.Data Interpretation: Interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations for business improvement.Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to evaluate the feasibility of business initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs and ensure alignment with business objectives.Analytical Support: Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, investments and projects to ensure successful outcomes.Departmental and Product Reviews: Review financial performance of departments and products to identify areas for improvement.Compliance: Ensure financial practices comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.Documentation: Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records to facilitate efficient decision-making.
