Expert Database Developer

Database Development ExpertWe are seeking an experienced Database Development Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SQL and PL/SQL experience with the ability to understand complex data models and translate business requirements into efficient SQL code that captures business context accurately.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database solutions, analyzing and understanding existing data models and database schemas, collaborating with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, translating business requirements into SQL code, writing efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL code, performing data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of SQL implementations, participating in code reviews and following established development standards, debugging and optimizing SQL queries for performance improvement, creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed solutions, and supporting testing activities and resolving data-related issues.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logicAnalyse and understand existing data models and database schemasCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirementsTranslate business requirements into SQL code that accurately reflects business logicWrite efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL codePerform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of SQL implementationsParticipate in code reviews and follow established development standardsDebug and optimise SQL queries for performance improvementCreate and maintain technical documentation for developed solutionsSupport testing activities and resolve data-related issuesRequirements:4-5 years of hands-on SQL development experienceHighly Proficient in PL/SQLStrong understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling Ability to read and interpret complex data models and ERDsExperience translating business requirements into SQL logicSolid understanding of joins, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL conceptsExperience with data transformation and aggregation techniquesBenefits:Competitive compensation packageOpportunity to work on high-profile projectsProfessional development opportunitiesHiring Process:A single round of technical interview.
