Job Title: Software Engineer in Quality AssuranceDescription:A software engineer in quality assurance is responsible for ensuring the highest level of product quality through manual and automation testing. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design and implement automated test scripts, and execute tests across various platforms.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.- Implement and enhance test suites using Rest Assured and Java.- Build and execute automated mobile tests using Appium for both iOS and Android platforms.- Design and create robust automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring modularity, reusability, and scalability.- Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on the quality and testability of code.- Mentor junior team members and ensure best practices are followed in test automation.Requirements:- Experience: 1 to 3 years in test automation with hands-on expertise in Selenium and Appium.- Frameworks: Proven track record in designing and implementing custom test automation frameworks.- Languages: Proficient in TypeScript and Java.- Mobile Automation: Experience with Appium for iOS and Android automation.- API Testing: Proficient in API testing using tools like Rest Assured.- Databases: Experience in working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for database testing and validation.- CI/CD: Proficiency with Jenkins and integrating automated tests.Key Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to design and implement automation frameworks.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
