Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Senior Backend PHP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of our web applications built using the PHP programming language.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the CodeIgniter Framework, as well as proficiency in MySQL database management and Linux server operations. Additionally, they should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy new features and functionality for our web applications.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution.Implement security patches, updates, and performance optimizations to maintain the stability and scalability of our applications.Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Requirements:Strong hands-on experience with CodeIgniter Framework and PHP.Proficiency in MySQL – writing queries, joins, debugging slow queries, and database optimization.Solid working knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS) – logs, configurations, server troubleshooting, user management, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.Good understanding of MVC architecture, REST APIs, and application lifecycle.BenefitsThis role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for professional growth and development.
