Job Title:Software Engineer 2aInternational eCommerce Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our International eCommerce team.Job Description:As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise software solutions. You will collaborate closely with technical and non-technical roles to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.In this role, you will participate in and lead design sessions and provide leadership for ongoing development efforts on various projects.The International eCommerce department is looking to add SAP Commerce/Hybris Engineers to their Development and Support teams to help sustain and build Releases for their International eCommerce Platform/Solution.Candidates are expected to have sound technical knowledge working on SAP Commerce/Hybris in Accelerator and/or Spartacus.They need to have prior experience working on B2C implementations in Hybris and have strong knowledge on key modules of eCommerce such as Product Management, Backoffice Content Management, Order Management, Pricing, Promotions, and Integrations etc.Key Responsibilities:Executes against project plans and delivers assignments within scope, schedule, and budget.Adopts and adapts to newly approved technologies, programming languages, tools, and standards.Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Assesses functional and nonfunctional requirements and creates designs to meet both business and technical needs.Creates conceptual and detailed technical design documents.Provides implementation expertise contributing to rollback, post install, data migration, and other artifacts as required including creation of support plans.Adheres to security management practices and promotes established security standards.Works with diagrams and documents the orchestration system solutions, configurations, break/fix procedures.Troubleshoots and solves code level problems quickly, efficiently and accurately.Creates automated unit and integration tests in their local environments after code development.Provides specific, relevant reporting for stakeholders in support of root cause analysis on critical issues.Mentors and shares knowledge across the International eCommerce Department.Leads/participates in Daily Scrum meetings.Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must have good understanding and working experience with Git flows, branching strategy etc.Experience with various code management and continuous integration tools: Bamboo, Bitbucket, Data Center etc.Hands on knowledge of configuring, installing, and using SAP Commerce/Hybris versionsHands on experience with Hybris tools including Backoffice, Hybris Administration Console, Import Cockpit and Product Cockpit functionsKnowledge of SOLR search engine, Adaptive search and configuring keywords for SEOProficient in Hybris foundational concepts with knowledge of Data Architecture, creating new Data models with Hybris, Data exchange and Inbound/Outbound integrations.Knowledge of Kubernetes Microservice architecture and setting up automated servicesExperience on new functionalities introduced in latest SAP Commerce versions, such as the Rule engine, Promotion Engine, Product Cockpit, Back office framework, SmartEdit etc.Knowledge on Spartacus (AngularJS coding)Extensive implementation knowledge of Software Design on SAP Commerce OOTB and Custom componentsKnowledge of Mobile App implementation via APIs, Flutter, Firebase etc.Proficient SQL database experienceExperience with SDLC in an Agile environmentCommunication of project issues in a timely manner with other Engineers, Scrum Master, Solution Architects, QA and Senior Management.Proficient in code quality assessment tools and vulnerabilities such as SonarQube etc.Minimum experience of 5 years in SAP Commerce/HybrisBenefits:Superior Work Ethic with a positive, can do attitudeExcellent customer service skillsDemonstrated attention to detail and excellent time managementSuperior collaboration skillsAbility to deal with conflict and work under pressure to meet deliverable commitmentsTechnical aptitude and a passion for learning about new emerging technologiesAbility to adjust work hours to accommodate International time zonesOthers:Overall work experience of 6+ years.Higher Education courses in Computer Science or in a related technical field preferred.Experience with projects focused on both infrastructures and software solutions.Knowledge of French, Spanish, Korean and Mandarin is a plus.Proficient in the use of Google products: email, spreadsheet, document, presentation and analytics.
