(opteamix.com)Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Technical Architect (GenAI / Azure) to lead the design and delivery of next-generation, AI-driven, cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Azure Cloud, GenAI architectures, and large language model (LLM) integration with proven leadership skills. This role involves guiding technical teams, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solution delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of developers, providing architectural guidance and ensuring delivery excellence.Design and implement scalable, cloud-native AI applications leveraging Microsoft Azure and related technologies.Translate business requirements into robust, secure, and scalable technical designs.Architect and deploy Generative AI (GenAI) solutions using LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.Oversee full software development lifecycle—from design through deployment—with focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance across platforms.Provide technical leadership and thought partnership to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices within the GenAI and cloud ecosystem.Required Skills & Experience:Total Experience: 8–12 years in IT, with a minimum of 2+ years in a Technical Lead or Architect capacity.Programming Expertise:Python: Strong knowledge of FastAPI / Flask, NumPy, and Pandas.OR .NET: Proficiency in ASP.NET, Web API, and related frameworks.Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:Azure App Services / Azure FunctionsAzure StorageAzure AI FoundryAzure OpenAIDatabase Expertise: Experience in at least one of the following – Azure SQL, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Proven experience integrating and deploying LLMs and RAG-based AI architectures.Minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience in developing and deploying GenAI solutions on cloud environments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across teams and with clients.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer) are highly desirable.Prior experience leading AI-centric projects or enterprise-scale cloud transformations.
