Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or food industry environment and a strong academic background. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to our strategic financial planning. This is an immediate joining opportunity for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities


  • Financial Reporting & Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
  • Bookkeeping & Record-Keeping: Manage daily accounting activities, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in Zoho and other relevant software.
  • Accounts Management: Efficiently handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
  • Taxation: Manage and ensure timely filing of GST returns and other relevant tax filings.
  • Financial Analysis: Support management by assisting with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in business decisions.


Required Qualifications & Skills


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a higher qualification.
  • Academic Excellence: A strong academic record, with a minimum of 85% or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as an accountant, specifically within the manufacturing or food industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software, particularly Zoho.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
