Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed technical drawings for interior design projects. This role requires a strong understanding of interior design concepts, attention to detail, and proficiency in AutoCAD.


Job Responsibilities

  • Produce detail design drawings (Architectural, Joinery, Civil Details) and Issue for Construction drawings using AutoCAD based on design concepts provided by the design team
  • Update and modify drawings as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including detailed working drawings and schedules
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and internal standards


Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in interior design, architecture or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in creating detailed technical drawings for interior design projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software; knowledge of SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting
  • Ability to identify and solve design and technical challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required
