Management Role for Optimal Rice ProcessingThe incumbent will oversee and coordinate rice processing operations to ensure the highest quality, efficiency, and productivity. Key responsibilities include monitoring plant performance, maintaining daily production logs, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Process Monitoring and ControlSupervise all stages of rice processing – cleaning, de-husking, polishing, grading, and packaging.Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality and minimize wastage.Quality Assurance and ImprovementEnsure that rice quality meets customer and internal standards (moisture, whiteness, broken %, etc.).Coordinate with QC team for regular sampling and testing.Maintenance and Equipment ManagementEnsure smooth running of processing equipment (dehuskers, polishers, graders, color sorters).Report breakdowns and assist in preventive maintenance activities.People Supervision and DevelopmentSupervise operators, helpers, and contract labor.Ensure adherence to work discipline, safety norms, and shift schedules.Documentation and ReportingMaintain production, yield, and rejection records.Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.Safety and Hygiene StandardsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations (FSSAI/GMP). Maintain hygiene in the processing area and monitor pest control activities.
