Product Sourcing and Development ManagerAs a seasoned product sourcing and development manager, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suitable vendors for outsourced sportswear production. You will build and maintain relationships with mills, trim suppliers, and garment manufacturers to ensure alignment of product specifications with vendor capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Sourcing & Vendor Development:Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize product development cycles and achieve cost savings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality products that meet customer requirements.Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.Costing & Negotiation:Develop and maintain accurate costing models to ensure effective cost management and negotiation.Lead cost negotiations with vendors to achieve target margins without compromising quality or delivery timelines.Monitor raw material prices and update costing models accordingly.Cut-to-Pack Execution:Oversee the cut-to-pack process to ensure alignment with technical packs, BOMs, and packaging guidelines.Work closely with design, technical, QA, and planning teams to ensure seamless execution of development cycles.Act as the key liaison between internal teams and external vendors for all development and sourcing-related matters.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or related field.4–6 years of experience in product sourcing and development in sportswear or performance apparel.Proven expertise in product development, sourcing, costing, and cut-to-pack processes.Strong understanding of fabric types, trims, technical constructions, and compliance requirements for performance apparel.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple development calendars and vendor timelines.
