Cloud Data Engineering OpportunityWe are seeking a talented Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and help drive the development of scalable data processing and orchestration solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on complex projects, develop new skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, Develop, and Deploy Scalable Data Processing Pipelines: Utilize Java 17+ and Apache Beam to create efficient data processing pipelines executed on GCP Cloud Dataflow.Build and Manage Data Orchestration Workflows: Leverage Apache Airflow or GCP Cloud Composer to design and implement DAGs with common and custom operators.Work with GCP Big Data Services: Collaborate extensively with BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud SQL, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS) for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and optimization.Write and Optimize Complex SQL Queries: Craft effective SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis in BigQuery and Cloud SQL.Maintain High Standards of Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code, testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.Required Skills and Qualifications:GCP Experience: Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.Java Development Experience: Proficiency in Java 17+ programming.Cloud Dataflow Experience: Hands-on experience with Apache Beam programming on Cloud Dataflow.Airflow/Cloud Composer Experience: Experience creating and managing DAGs using Apache Airflow or GCP Cloud Composer.GCP Big Data Services Experience: Proficiency in BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud SQL, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).Strong SQL Skills: Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries.Benefits:Join a dynamic team of engineers driving innovation on Google Cloud Platform.
