Maintain our internal documentation, solving issues presented by customers and internal consumers.Create in-depth user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation.Test both the product and its documentation for accuracy and consistency.Adapt rapidly to a changing industry and be able to adjust responsibilities, time, and objectives accordingly.Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement.Regular communication and synchronization with the Director of Documentation and Certification.Research, understand, and then create original IT business content in multiple formats.The formats include webpages, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, brochures, battle cards, video scripts, infographics, campaign emails, social media, and technology news.Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.Progressively learn technologies, services, and products to emerge as an independent contributor and, hopefully, a thought leader in the longer run.Absolute command over formal B2B English; keen interest in U.S. jargon would help.Understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics will be useful.Develops a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with colleagues, and working with managers to discuss technical problemsResearches and builds knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documentedDetermines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and writes and edits technical information accordinglyPrepares or commissions graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writingMeets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialised topics are appropriately addressed and discussedCollaborates with translators as necessary to convert writing into a variety of languagesWorks with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that the finished documentation meets product requirementsRevises, edits, or updates instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessaryCreates, adapts, and follows project schedules and deadlinesSpecialises in technical writing for IT industryAttends conferences, trade shows, and educational seminars pertinent to his or her industry
