Your role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our apps are user-friendly, reliable, and perform seamlessly.Key Responsibilities:Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications on various platforms.Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to identify and document defects.Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) to create and maintain automated test scripts, enhancing the efficiency of the testing process.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements, ensure test coverage, and provide feedback on app quality.Use JIRA or similar bug tracking tools to report, track, and manage defects, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.Perform compatibility testing across different devices, screen sizes, operating systems, and browsers.Conduct performance and load testing to ensure apps meet performance benchmarks and handle expected user loads.Continuously refine testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve app quality and testing efficiency.Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in app testing and integrate them into the testing process.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven 2+ experience as an App Test Engineer, with a focus on mobile and web applications.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with manual testing, automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium), and scripting languages.Proficiency in using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools for defect management.Familiarity with Agile development processes and working in cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
