Hillwoods Academy is seeking an accomplished leader to assume the role of Senior HeadMistress. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the academic vision and strategic direction of our institution.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring academic programs, ensuring compliance with CBSE/ICSE/State Board regulations, and supervising lesson planning, syllabus completion, and academic calendars.You will also oversee student performance, guide remedial/enrichment programs, and promote innovative teaching practices using ICT/AI tools in classrooms.Additional responsibilities include managing day-to-day school operations, preparing timetables, teacher allotments, and substitution plans, coordinating examinations, result analysis, and records, and overseeing admissions, withdrawals, and student documentation.In addition, you will supervise and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff, conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, organize teacher training, workshops, and capacity-building sessions, support staff in implementing CBSE circulars and guidelines, maintain discipline and school culture, address student grievances, counselling needs, and behaviour issues, ensure implementation of child protection policies and POSCO compliance, promote inclusive education and student well-being, communicate with parents during PTMs and grievance redressal, support school outreach programmes, events, and community initiatives, handle sensitive parent issues in coordination with the Principal, plan and oversee assemblies, celebrations, competitions, and annual functions, encourage sports, clubs, and life-skills programs, support implementation of experiential learning and projects, ensure school safety protocols, disaster management drills, maintain records for inspections and audits, support accreditation and quality benchmarks, and implement digital records and ERP systems.To be successful in this role, you should possess a postgraduate degree plus B.Ed (mandatory), 8–12 years teaching/academic coordination experience, strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE policies & NEP 2020, leadership, communication, conflict resolution skills, and proficiency in school ERP, MS Office, Google Workspace.If you are a dynamic educator with excellent leadership skills and a passion for creating a nurturing environment for students to thrive, we would love to hear from you.
