Technical Expertise Enhancement RoleThe role involves enhancing the team's technical expertise by promoting continuous learning and keeping skills aligned with the latest industry best practices.This includes implementing robust delivery and quality measurement processes to ensure consistency and high standards in all projects.Key responsibilities include:Undertaking technical reviews, peer reviews, checks, and contributing to design;Providing continuous feedback on the effectiveness of protocols and processes for improvement;Developing professional relationships with colleagues, communicating project progress openly;Participating in project meetings, team meetings, disseminating information within the team, and communicating with other teams;Identifying and addressing potential risk issues and following company commercial and contracting processes;Managing delegated tasks to meet deadlines and flagging resourcing concerns to team leaders;Identifying additional fees and referring them to senior engineers.Qualifications include:Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering;Experience in Plumbing & Fire Protection design for commercial and residential buildings at concept, schematic, and detailed design stages;Skills in fixture load calculations, pipe pressure drop calculations, pipe sizing, and preparation of layouts, schematics, sections, plant rooms hand mark-ups;Knowledge of ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ASPE, IPC, NFPA Fire codes and standards.
