**Job Overview**As a skilled Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-performance backend systems using Golang. Your expertise will be utilized to build scalable services and APIs that meet our platform's needs.We are seeking an individual with deep knowledge of Golang, experience in Ruby, and strong computer science fundamentals. You will be part of a collaborative environment where clean code, solid engineering practices, and problem-solving skills are valued.Design and Development: Create scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.Languages: Proficiency in Golang is required, with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience as a plus.Architecture: Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend.Coding Standards: Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on quality.Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.Performance Optimization: Improve performance, monitoring, and observability of backend services.Troubleshooting: Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning, and troubleshoot production issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause analysis.**Requirements**5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems.Strong proficiency in Golang is required, with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience as a bonus.Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals – algorithms, data structures, and system design.Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environment.Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a collaborative mindset.Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
