Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our team for a Mergers & Acquisition Tax advisory profile. This role will be based in Bangalore and involve working with one of India's leading transaction advisory firms.This boutique consulting firm specializes in M&A tax and structuring services for diverse domestic and multi-national clients.The key responsibilities of this position include:Structuring potential mergers and acquisition (M&A) deals.Undertaking slump sales, share transfers, merger, demergers, and restructuring activities.Providing tax diligence services, advising on tax implications for the corporate in the mergers deal.Offering start-up, real estate & e-commerce advisory services, with focused industry insights.Providing fund structuring and advisory services - transaction advisory in relation to fund raises, shareholder realignments, and investor exits. Additionally, assisting in the implementation of an efficient structure.Providing business model advisory services, handling negotiations with strategic investors, spot deal issues, identifying economic constraints & risk appetite from the perspective of strategic and private equity investors.Developing family succession planning structures.To be successful in this role, you should have:A qualified Chartered Accountant qualification.At least 2 years post-qualification experience in tax consultancy from Big 6 (PWC, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, etc).A solid understanding of Direct Taxation / M&As in diverse industries.Successful candidates can expect a competitive CTC package.
