Job Title: Cyber Security SpecialistProtect the integrity of organizational networks, applications, and data by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop, deploy, and manage cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and security information and event management tools.Implement security controls for cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.Collaborate with IT teams to develop secure system configurations and hardening guidelines to minimize vulnerabilities.Threat Detection & Incident Response:Monitor security alerts and logs to detect suspicious activities and respond accordingly.Investigate security incidents, lead response efforts, and perform root cause analysis to implement preventive measures.Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.Policy, Compliance & Governance:Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations through regular risk assessments and security awareness training.Identity & Access Management:Manage identity and access management tools to enforce least-privilege access controls and ensure secure authentication processes.Oversee multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and privileged access management solutions to prevent unauthorized access.Collaboration & Documentation:Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to maintain secure environments and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.Prepare detailed security reports, incident summaries, and audit documentation to facilitate decision-making and strategic planning.
