Enterprise Data Platform Administrator OpportunityAs a key member of our organization's data platform team, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining the Databricks platform on a chosen cloud service provider. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance of this cutting-edge technology.Key Responsibilities:Platform Administration: Implement, maintain, and configure the Databricks workspace, including user and group management, access control, and security configurations.Operational Support: Provide technical assistance to data engineering, data science, and application teams by performing restores/recoveries, troubleshooting service issues, and resolving platform-related problems.Cluster Management: Install, configure, and manage Databricks clusters and workspaces, monitoring cluster performance, resource utilization, and platform costs.Security and Compliance: Ensure data protection by implementing and managing access controls and security policies to safeguard sensitive information, adhering to relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Integration: Manage connections between Databricks and other data sources like Snowflake, optimizing data pipelines and workflows.Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for platform provisioning and routine tasks using Terraform.Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience with Databricks platform administration and management.Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Why Work With Us?We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
