Job Title:A leading Design Engineer is sought to lead the design team and drive innovation in product development.The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful design projects and will be responsible for managing a team of design engineers to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing design strategies, standards, and best practices; overseeing the design and development of new products and manufacturing processes; ensuring compliance with design codes, standards, and regulations; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project objectives and timelines; managing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence; mentoring and developing design engineers to improve skills and knowledge; reviewing and approving designs, providing feedback and guidance as needed.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical or similar) and significant experience in design engineering leadership preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment. Strong knowledge of design principles, codes, and standards is also essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills are required. The ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement is also highly desirable.
