Machine Learning Engineer RoleThis is a hands-on engineering position focused on developing and maintaining artificial intelligence and machine learning services.Built and maintained Python + FastAPI services that integrated machine learning and large language model capabilities.Utilized AWS Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker to develop, deploy, and monitor machine learning models.Implemented and supported machine learning workflows under the guidance of senior architects.Assisted with data preparation for model training, validation, and evaluation.Contributed to automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and observability for machine learning-powered services.Written clear documentation for services, endpoints, and machine learning workflows.Collaborated with product and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.A successful candidate will have:At least 2 years of experience as a software engineer or machine learning engineer.Strong Python skills and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar.Hands-on experience with AWS, including services like Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker.An understanding of large language model basics: prompts, responses, error modes, and common limitations.Solid machine learning fundamentals: train/validation/test splits, basic models, and evaluation metrics.A basic understanding of machine learning workflows and a desire to grow skills in machine learning operations.A comfort working in a remote, asynchronous-friendly engineering environment.
