Role Description:


This is an internship remote role for a Next.js Developer Intern at Lithem. The intern will work on web development projects using modern frameworks, focusing on creating robust, scalable, and responsive web applications.


Qualifications:


  • Basic understanding of Next.js and React.js.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and client-server architecture.
  • Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a team.
  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features.
  • Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Next.js.
  • Optimize application performance for scalability and speed.
  • Debug and fix technical issues in existing applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Work on integrating third-party APIs and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.


Requirements:


  • Hands-on experience with Next.js and React.js (academic, personal projects, or professional work).
  • Basic knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio Code and browser developer tools.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Good communication skills for collaborative development.
  • A strong desire to grow and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
