We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with strong international exposure in steel scrap selling across different geographies.The ideal candidate must possess deep market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in high-volume scrap sales.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for steel scrap to maximize revenue and expand the customer base.Buyer Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with buyers to establish long-term partnerships and drive business growth.Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals to ensure successful transaction outcomes.Market Analysis: Track market trends, competitor movements, and price fluctuations to stay ahead in the market and make informed business decisions.Logistics and Documentation: Coordinate logistics, shipments, and all related documentation to ensure smooth execution of transactions.Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with steel mills and key stakeholders to foster cooperation and mutual benefit.Reporting and Insights: Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to inform business strategy and drive decision-making.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales/marketing of steel scrap or metal scrap.Pricing and Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of pricing, global markets, and steel mills.Transaction Management: Proven experience managing high-volume scrap transactions.Results-Oriented: Result-oriented with a track record of delivering strong business results.Product Knowledge: Strong product knowledge and domain expertise.Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and understanding of market dynamics.Languages: Fluency in Bengali (mandatory) and proficiency in English.Education:Degree: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Additional Requirements:Relocation and Travel: Willingness to relocate and travel extensively.Industrial Network: Strong network among industrial buyers in SAARC countries.
