Quality Assurance and Testing EngineerJob Description:As a Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mature inspection management platform. You will be responsible for testing features across web and mobile applications, maintaining test automation, and championing quality throughout the development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and document bugsTest new features in Rails MVC web application and mobile apps, ensuring cross-browser and responsive design compatibilityPerform regression testing for releases and hotfixes, validating user workflow and data gatheringVerify data integrity across inspection workflows, ensuring accuracy and precisionSet up and maintain test environments independently, configuring test automation frameworks as neededPlay an active role in CI/CD test pipeline integration, expanding existing automated test suitesWrite integration tests using Cucumber/Capybara, developing API test automation for REST endpointsRequirements:For this role, we are seeking a detail-oriented tester with a passion for building robust testing infrastructure. A successful candidate will have experience with test automation tools, including Cucumber/Capybara and Selenium. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration is also essential.
