Cloud Data Specialist RoleWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.The successful candidate will ensure that cloud environments follow best practices for security, operations and networking.The individual will automate deployment, configuration and resource management across GCP services.The Cloud Data Specialist will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and DBT models.The candidate must ensure performance, cost efficiency, data quality and reliability in all data transformations.The specialist will implement Python-based data ingestion pipelines.The selected candidate will develop automation to improve platform reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.Maintain end-to-end monitoring, logging and alerting systems.Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot performance issues and ensure high availability.Support cloud operations and participate in on-call rotations when required.Implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines and cloud workflows.Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation-first practices.Improve cloud deployment reliability and reduce manual operational tasks.Collaborate on secure, scalable networking solutions within the cloud environment.Apply best practices for identity, access, compliance and cloud governance.
