Job Description

The L&D Manager is responsible for redesigning and implementing the company’s learning and development strategy. This role oversees the creation of programs that onboard, enhance employee skills, and contribute to meeting organizational goals.


The L&D Manager will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring that all employees have access to impactful training and growth opportunities, accelerating readiness for the job, and optimizing performance in coordination with Central and cross functional Departments such as Process Improvement.


What will the role look like?

Revamping Onboarding and Induction Processes:

  • Design training curriculum for customer support front-line agents and team leads, focusing on technical knowledge, functional expertise, and scenario-handling skills.
  • Develop detailed session plans and lesson plans for initial certifications, creating high-quality learning materials, including assessments.
  • Identify key learning gaps by utilizing Training Needs Identification (TNI) methods, as well as analyzing customer satisfaction reports, agent quality reports, and other relevant data to inform training requirements.
  • Certify master trainers and quality leads on newly developed training materials.
  • Create engaging TNI methods tailored to the fast-paced, quick-commerce customer support model.


Integration of Technology in Learning:

  • Identify and implement advanced technology solutions to support virtual, self-paced, and blended learning experiences


Strategic Development of Learning Programs:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that addresses the evolving needs of the workforce
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs that support team goals


Content and Curriculum Design:

  • Oversee the creation of impactful training content that supports employee development at all levels, from foundational skills to leadership capabilities
  • Ensure training content is regularly updated and relevant, leveraging a variety of learning methods to enhance engagement and retention


Learning Culture and Engagement:

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, actively engaging employees in development opportunities
  • Implement initiatives to track and enhance employee participation in learning programs


Measurement and Reporting:

  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs, using data-driven insights to refine approaches
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership, showcasing the impact of learning initiatives on employee performance and engagement

Technological Proficiency in Learning & Development:

  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms, with experience implementing technology to enhance learning accessibility and engagement
  • Familiarity with digital tools and methods (e.g., virtual learning environments, and mobile learning apps) that enable scalable and flexible training solutions.


Content Creation and Instructional Design:

  • Expertise in instructional design principles, curriculum development, and adult learning methodologies
  • Ability to create and oversee engaging, high-quality training content across various formats (in-person, virtual, self-paced, blended)


Project and Program Management:

  • Strong project management skills to design, implement, and evaluate multiple programs effectively
  • Ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders while ensuring consistent quality and measurable outcomes


Analytical and Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Skilled in using data and analytics to measure program effectiveness, identify improvement areas, and demonstrate ROI
  • Ability to interpret training metrics and feedback, adjusting strategies to enhance learning outcomes.


Leadership and Team Development:

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on motivating and mentoring L&D team members
  • Ability to create a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
