Job Title:Endocrinology Specialist PhysicianJob Description:The Endocrinology Specialist Physician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients within the division.Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating complex conditions, managing patient care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the supervision and training of junior medical staff.This involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating personalized treatment plans for injuries, illnesses, and disorders within the specialty.The Endocrinology Specialist Physician is also responsible for prescribing and administering appropriate medication, therapy, or other specialized medical care, and performing necessary procedures/surgeries related to the specialty.Liaising and consulting with other medical specialists, departments, and support services is essential to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.Accurate documentation of all relevant clinical information is crucial in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities enhances patient safety and care standards.Providing instruction, guidance, and supervision to junior medical staff, residents, and students is also an important aspect of this role.Effective communication of clinical information to patients and their families is essential, including obtaining informed consent for procedures as required.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: An MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.Post-Graduate Training: Completion of a structured clinical residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialization.Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience post-specialization, depending on the DOH tier classification qualifications and specific hospital requirements.Licensing: A valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license or an eligibility letter to practice in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required, and competence in other languages is often a distinct asset.Benefits:Working in this role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and outcomes.The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with experienced professionals.About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated medical professional to join our team as an Endocrinology Specialist Physician.We offer a competitive package and opportunities for growth and development.
