The Client Advisory Services team is a rapidly growing team, where we partner with our clients to perform accounting and technology services. Some of our services include outsourced accounting, financial statement close assistance, virtual controller/CFO services, and accounting technology solution development. About the Role A Client Advisory Associate assumes responsibility for developing their accounting, technical and soft skills; developing the ability to work on multiple projects; understanding the fundamentals of executing diligent client service; learning the work tools used in executing client work; and getting oriented to the Firm’s practices, policies, and culture. Responsibilities Demonstrates ability to work on engagements with the assistance of senior staff in performing accounting services for client, including but not limited to: Preparing and/or assisting with the reconciliation of accounts (bank, credit card, prepaids, liabilities, payroll, etc.) Calculating accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenues, etc. Recording journal entries. Preparation and/or assisting with the workpapers to support financial statements. Preparing and/or assisting with the preparation of financial statements and client reports. Performs thorough self-review of all work prior to submission for final review. Develops proficiency in use of all technology necessary for performance and execution of work. Ensures quality control procedures are being followed and executed. Maintains positive client and colleague relationships. Positively represents and actively promotes the Firm. Proactively seeks knowledge, new tasks, and responsibilities. Qualifications CA Inter Qualified and completed articleship Required Skills Ability to work on the corporate accounting processes and procedures such as cash management, AR/AP, month end close, payroll and benefits. Communication and presentation skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills. Action-oriented (self-starter, team player, detail-oriented). Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines. Understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis.
