Assistant Technical Sales Manager

The Assistant Technical Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing laboratory functioning and supporting research and development activities. This role involves maintaining equipment, managing inventory, developing and enforcing protocols, and ensuring that the lab operates efficiently and effectively.Key Responsibilities:1. Laboratory Operations & Administration:Supervise and coordinate daily lab activities to ensure smooth operation.Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).Manage lab schedules, workflow, and project timelines.Ensure compliance with company standards.2. Safety & Compliance:Oversee laboratory safety programs and maintain a culture of safety.Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure proper documentation.Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines.Coordinate safety training for lab personnel.3. Equipment & Inventory Management:Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.Oversee procurement and inventory of lab supplies and reagents.Manage service contracts and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.Track and control lab budget expenditures.4. Personnel Management & Training:Supervise lab support staff (if any).Provide training on lab techniques, safety protocols, and SOPs.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.5. Research & Technical Support:Manage data recording and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.Assist with grant applications, reporting, and compliance documentation.Brenntag TA Team
