Summary/ Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to join our corporate development team. This role will focus on management reporting, business planning, supporting fundraising efforts, and special projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and data interpretation, along with a passion for contributing to the financial goals and strategic vision of the organization.


Roles and Key KPIs

  • Collaborate with various finance and business teams to gather relevant financial data and business insights. Also responsible for report designs, creation and dissemination of relevant reports to management
  • Develop, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track key unit economics and performance indicators (KPIs) and visualize trends.
  • Be an integral part of preparation of budgets, forecasting, strategic planning, and variance analysis ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop financial presentations and materials for potential investors and stakeholders.
  • Prepare relevant financial reports for supporting investor relations efforts
  • Provide data-driven guidance to leaders on company's financial performance, major investments and new growth opportunities
  • Support the implementation of internal controls and best practices to mitigate risks associated with financial operations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.


Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Familiarity with data analytics & visualization tools (Power BI/ Tableau) will be a bonus. In-depth financial acumen, including the ability to understand financial statements, financial ratios, and business KPIs.
  • Sound understanding financial modelling and valuation
  • Excellent analytical skills, logical and presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Payment/ Fintech experience preferred but not mandatory


Preferred Education and skills

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. MBA preferred. CA or CFA qualification would be plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in investor relations, corporate development, management consulting, or a related field within the venture capital, private equity, or transaction advisory services.
