Quality Assurance Software Specialist

Join our Quality Assurance Team as a Test Engineer to help us maintain high quality standards in software development.About the role:This is a long-term contract position.8+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and automated testing tools are required.Offshore collaboration with India-based teams will be essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Test Execution and Process ImprovementAs a motivated team member, you will be responsible for manual planning, test execution, and process improvement. Your goal is to ensure consistent, high-quality testing standards across all products and systems within our portfolio.Additional responsibilities include maintaining our Automated Framework and test cases using Playwright/JavaScript. You will also work closely with QA and Development teams to drive and improve delivery processes.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.At least 8 years of experience in various projects on Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & reporting.Experience designing test strategies and end-to-end test scenarios, along with estimating test efforts.Familiarity with automated testing tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and experience building frameworks and scripts using automation tools.Hands-on experience with Java or JavaScript is essential.A strong understanding of software QE concepts, recommended practices, and methodologies covering functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.Ability to manage multiple test events and projects simultaneously.Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.Familiarity with Jira, ALM, TFS/ADO, or similar systems of record.API testing tools & automation experience using Rest-Assured, SoapUI, Postman, SOAtest, or CA LISA is highly preferred.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Bitbucket is preferred.Hands-on experience using SQL queries for result validation and data mining.You'll bring:A high level of attention to detail and analytical skills.An eagle eye mentality for thoroughness.Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.A working knowledge of quality assurance/quality management best practices.The ability to push boundaries and evolve QA practices.Strong verbal and written communication skills.A comfortable learning environment and adaptability to fast-paced situations.For more information about this opportunity, please apply today
