Generative AI Research Scientist

Are you looking for a challenging role in Generative AI?We are seeking a Research Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large language models and high-performance inference systems.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, training, and optimizing LLMs. You will build and optimize pipelines on cloud GPUs, generate, curate, and maintain datasets for pretraining and finetuning, implement and improve transformer architectures, and optimize inference using FlashAttention, PagedAttention, KV caches, and serving frameworks like vLLM / sglang.Main Responsibilities:Develop and refine LLM training and inference processes.Cultivate and manage datasets for model training and fine-tuning.Design and enhance transformer architecture components.Streamline inference through efficient algorithms and frameworks.Collaborate with research and product teams to drive innovation and improvement.Requirements:Strong Python skills and proficiency in software development best practices.Proficiency in PyTorch or JAX programming environments.Familiarity with Hugging Face libraries: transformers, trl, accelerate.Experience with distributed and mixed-precision training on cloud-hosted GPUs.Deep understanding of transformer internals: attention mechanisms, positional encodings, MoE.Familiarity with writing prompts, tool definitions, and context management for LLMs in real-world applications.What We Offer:A dynamic and supportive work environment.Opportunities for growth and professional development.The chance to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects.
