Automated Testing Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Automated Testing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Key Responsibilities:Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript to ensure high-quality products.Execute Automated Test Suites: Run automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance.Identify, Document, and Track Defects: Identify defects, document them, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.Develop and Maintain Test Plans: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.Perform Code Reviews: Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices.Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.Proven Experience in QA Automation: Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.Strong Understanding of Software Testing Principles: Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Experience with CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Familiarity with Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
