Job Title: Admissions CounsellorJob SummaryThe Admissions Counsellor serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students and parents, guiding them through the entire admission process. The role involves managing inquiries, conducting counselling sessions, coordinating admission activities, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every applicant.Key Responsibilities1. Counselling & CommunicationRespond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, walk-ins, and online platforms.Provide detailed information about academic programs, curriculum, admission criteria, and school life.Counsel students and parents to help them make informed academic decisions.Conduct individual and group counselling sessions, school tours, and open house events.2. Admissions ManagementManage the end-to-end admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.Ensure accurate and complete documentation for each applicant.Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, and entrance exams.Maintain and update applicant data in the CRM or school ERP system.Follow up with leads to achieve targeted conversion rates.3. Reporting & CoordinationPrepare regular reports on inquiries, conversions, and admission trends.Collaborate with academic and administrative teams for smooth onboarding of new students.Provide feedback on market trends, parent expectations, and competitor activities.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.1–5 years of experience in student admissions, counselling, or customer service (education sector preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP software.Ability to work under deadlines and maintain attention to detail.Key Skills & AttributesStrong verbal and written communication.Empathy, patience, and professionalism when dealing with parents and students.Organizational and time management skills.Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.Presentation and persuasion skills.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per monthBenefits:Health insuranceProvident FundWork Location: In person
