Job Summary:Software Test EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to own end-to-end testing of APIs, build and maintain API automation suites using Postman, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Playwright, and collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure quality and stability before every release.Design, create, and review test plans, test cases, and test data for robust coverage.Drive release readiness by providing QA sign-offs and supporting UAT/production validations.Own end-to-end testing of APIs — including functional, integration, regression, contract, and negative scenarios.Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure quality and stability before every release.Build and maintain API automation suites using Postman, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Playwright.Key Skills and QualificationsRequirements include strong hands-on experience in manual API testing using Postman, REST, JSON, and Swagger. Additionally, a proven automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based tools (Playwright preferred), solid understanding of HTTP protocols, authentication, webhooks, and databases (MongoDB/MySQL) is required.Excellent debugging and log analysis skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.Strong understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an agile team.Experience working with cloud-based services and platforms.
