Job Title:Cloud Data Platform SpecialistAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data platforms on various cloud services.Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless performance, efficient resource utilization, and cost-effective solutions that meet our data governance and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Platform Implementation and Maintenance: Design and implement workspace setups, user management, access control, and security configurations for optimal platform performance.Technical Support: Provide assistance to data engineering, data science, and application teams by troubleshooting service issues, resolving platform-related problems, and performing restores/recoveries.Cluster Management: Manage cluster performance, resource utilization, and platform costs while maintaining compliance with relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Automation and Scripting: Design and implement automation scripts and tools for platform provisioning and routine tasks using Terraform.Required Skills and Qualifications:Terraform Expertise: Strong knowledge of Terraform and its applications in cloud infrastructure management.Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services, including their respective features and integrations.Databricks Administration: Experience in Databricks administration, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash, for automation tasks.Data Governance and Compliance: Knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA.Benefits:Our organization offers a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
