About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations for our fast-growing, globally distributed organization.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructure, supporting employees with hardware/software needs, and maintaining secure access to company systems. This includes providing remote support for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues, as well as managing onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning laptops, accounts, and tools.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level technical assistance to employees across various platforms, resolving complex issues efficiently and effectively.Manage Onboarding & Offboarding Processes: Ensure seamless transitions for new hires, including setup of equipment, access to necessary tools and resources, and timely termination of services for departing employees.Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT support procedures, including troubleshooting guides, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.Systems Administration: Manage user accounts and permissions across multiple platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).Network & Security Management: Implement and enforce robust security protocols to safeguard sensitive data, adhering to industry standards and best practices such as HIPAA and SOC2.Respond to IT Security Incidents: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, containing and mitigating damage while escalating as needed.Process Improvement & Global Collaboration: Identify areas for improvement in IT processes and workflows, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
