Advanced ServiceNow Engineer

ServiceNow Developer PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to lead the configuration, customization, and extension of our ServiceNow platform in a complex enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities:Configure, customize, and enhance multiple modules including ITSM, CSM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, GRC/SecOps/IRM.Develop advanced customizations using UI Policies / Client Scripts / Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Macros, UI Pages, ACLs & Security Rules, MID Server installation, configuration & integrations, Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Policies, Update Sets, Scoped Apps.Build complex workflows, catalog items, record producers, flow actions, and automation using Flow Designer / Workflow Editor.Technical Leadership & Solution Design:Advise on solution design and propose best practices for implementing scalable technical solutions aligned with architectural guidelines.Evaluate alternative solutions and recommend efficient technical implementations that meet business needs.Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote adherence to best practices.Integrations & Automation:Design and implement REST/SOAP-based integrations with external systems to improve operational efficiency.Use MID Server and IntegrationHub (Spokes) to automate workflows across enterprise applications.Leverage scripting and automation tools to streamline ServiceNow operations.Operations, Support & Continuous Improvement:Monitor platform performance, diagnose issues, and implement bug fixes and enhancements.Provide L2/L3 support for ServiceNow application issues across environments.Ensure high availability, stability, and health of the platform through proactive monitoring and maintenance.Document solutions, configurations, upgrade procedures, build guides, and release notes.Identify configurational gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Governance & SDLC Compliance:Collaborate in Agile development methodologies, participate in sprint ceremonies, and maintain story/task updates.Ensure compliance with ServiceNow coding standards, naming conventions, security practices, and upgrade-safe development.Manage deployments across Sub-Prod and Prod environments using update sets, ATF tests, and release workflows.Work with QA to ensure test coverage and validate solution quality before deployments.
