Job Title:Software Engineering LeaderAbout the Role:The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead our efforts in building high-scale, reliable services.In this role, you will be responsible for designing and launching major features into production, operating high-traffic web services, and ensuring consistency and reliability across all global regions. You will work independently on most projects and tasks, driving tactical execution of features and projects, and owning feature design.Key Challenges:The biggest challenges for the team are reliability and performance. We need engineers who can build services that handle millions of requests per second, survive regional data center outages, and protect our customers. We also need engineers who can figure out how we can scale out and handle traffic patterns several orders of magnitude greater than what we can support today.Required Qualifications:7+ years of distributed service engineering experience in a software development environmentHands-on experience building and operating highly-available, high-traffic web servicesStrong development experience in Java or C++, Python or GO, or similar OO languagesStrong experience in change automation and DevOpsExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Terraform and HelmExperience with at least one scripting language for automating tasks, proof of concept work, or command line toolsPreferred Qualifications:Domain knowledge of IAMHands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure)Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centersExperience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven developmentFedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance and auditing experience
