ADCS Engineering Director The primary focus of this role is to spearhead the development, delivery and validation of high-reliability Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS) subsystems across multiple satellite missions. Our ideal candidate will bring a profound understanding of spacecraft dynamics and control combined with hands-on experience working with flight hardware and simulation tools. Key Responsibilities: Develop ADCS system architecture that meets mission-level pointing accuracy and stability requirements.Lead the development and validation of estimation and control algorithms for attitude determination and control.Evaluate sensor calibration routines, alignment procedures and actuator control strategies.Oversee end-to-end ADCS simulations using tools such as Basilisk, MATLAB/Simulink and custom Python frameworks.Analyze mission profile, orbit maneuver planning and validation using GMAT, STK or similar platforms.Mentor and guide a team of ADCS engineers while collaborating closely with engineers from various disciplines including Space Mission Analysis & Design, Avionics, Software & Firmware.Coordinate hardware-in-the-loop setups, qualification campaigns and environmental testing in conjunction with avionics and systems teams.Provide technical leadership, mentorship and promote a culture of high-reliability engineering within the organization. Requirements: A deep understanding of spacecraft dynamics and control principles.Hands-on experience working with flight hardware and simulation tools.Strong leadership and technical skills to drive ADCS system development and delivery.Able to analyze and validate complex ADCS algorithms.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Able to provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
